Built by a CRO, for CRO teams

The CRO workspace that turns scattered research into revenue

One purpose-built home for your research, hypotheses and experiments — so scattered CRO work turns into clear learnings and revenue you can prove.

why crobar

Institutional memory for your experimentation program

The contractor leaves, the quarter closes, the Notion doc rots. Crobar keeps every result, hypothesis and learning in one structured place that survives team churn — so your program compounds instead of resetting.

Experiment records Research scratchpad ICE prioritization Hypothesis backlog Semantic search Gantt & Kanban views Win / loss tracking Guardrail metrics Page-type tagging VWO · Optimizely · PostHog · GA4 Per-client workspaces Stakeholder reports

One record per experiment

Variants, status, dev notes, metrics and results live on a single card — not scattered across five tools and a Slack thread.

Search in plain English

Ask “what have we tried on PDPs?” and get every related test back, powered by semantic search across your own data.

See what's already been tried

Log a new test and Crobar surfaces past results on the same page type, so you stop repeating ideas that already failed.

Prioritise with ICE, not vibes

Score impact, confidence and ease, rank your backlog, and promote the strongest hypotheses straight into experiments.

how it works

Built around how CRO teams actually work

Research becomes hypotheses. Hypotheses become experiments. Experiments become learnings you can find again. The whole workflow lives in one place, per client or project.

Crobar — the CRO workspace

Research that connects

Dump screenshots, session findings and rough notes as you go, then link them to the hypotheses and tests they inspired.

  • Obsidian-style linked graph

  • Tag by page type and theme

Hypotheses with discipline

Write proper hypotheses tied to a metric, score them with ICE, and keep a ranked backlog of what to test next.

  • Live ICE score calculation

  • One click to promote to a test

Experiments, your way

See your program as a Gantt timeline, a Kanban by status, or a table — and record results against every metric that matters.

  • Gantt, Kanban & table views

  • Primary, secondary & guardrail metrics

"I built Crobar after years of watching test results disappear into dead Notion pages and a spreadsheet only I understood. Every CRO team has a test graveyard. This is how I stopped mine from growing."

Your program, searchable and self-connecting

Semantic search finds the test, hypothesis or note you're thinking of even when you can't remember the words. And as you work, related signals surface on their own — so the right context is always one glance away.

Frequently asked questions

The short version of what Crobar is, what it isn't, and how teams use it

Does Crobar run A/B tests?

No — and that's deliberate. You run your tests in VWO, Optimizely, PostHog, GA4 or wherever you already work. Crobar is the workspace around them: it brings your research, experiments and results together and turns them into learnings and revenue. It's not another testing platform to migrate to.

What tools does it work with?

All of them. Because results are entered as structured records rather than pulled from one vendor's API, Crobar is tool-agnostic — VWO, Optimizely, Convert, AB Tasty, PostHog, GA4, or a homegrown setup all live side by side.

What exactly is an 'experiment record'?

It's the core unit of Crobar: one card holding the variant imagery, A/B or MVT type, status, dev notes, the hypothesis behind it, the metrics you tracked (primary, secondary, guardrail) and the results. Everything about a single test in one place.

How does plain-language search work?

Every record and research note is embedded for semantic search, so you can ask things like “what have we tried on checkout?” or “tests that moved AOV” and get relevant results back — even when the wording doesn't match exactly.

What are workspaces?

Separate, fully isolated spaces — one per client, brand or project, like a fresh database each time. Tags, locations and metrics are scoped to the workspace, so a client's data never bleeds into another's.

Can it help me decide what to test next?

Yes. Capture hypotheses, score them with the ICE framework (impact, confidence, ease) and keep a ranked backlog. When something rises to the top, promote it straight into an experiment with one click.

Can I bring in tests I've already run?

Absolutely — most teams start by backfilling their best historical wins and losses so search has something to work with from day one. You add them as records manually, the same way you'd log a new test.

Who is Crobar for?

CRO and experimentation practitioners — independent consultants, in-house optimisation teams, and agencies running programs across multiple clients. If you run structured tests and keep losing the learnings, it's for you.
